The Essential Equipment Consortium Ltd or EEC as we have become known, was established in 1993 by a team of highly skilled weighing machine engineers who recognised the need for a business offering high quality customer care in the food machinery service industry. EEC adopted the ethos of being Rapid, Effective & Loyal!

EEC soon expanded their portfolio to include processing and packaging equipment, becoming one of the UK's leading vacuum packaging specialists. Being an independant company, EEC has always been able to offer the best equipment on the market securing dealerships for such marks as Avery Berkel, Henkelman and Deko.

In 2013 we were asked to look at repairing a race fuel bowser for a leading World Renault 3.5 team. We can honestly say we were not impressed with the quality of the machine we were presented with. We knew we had the skills and experience in the weighing industry to design and manufacture a fuel bowser which could meet the quality, accuracy and safety required by modern professional race teams. The f-POD was born. We were also the first manufacture to build a machine which met all the current and stringent standards to achieve CE approval, which then was unknown in the motorsport industry.

Today we are probably the worlds leading manufacturer of race fuel bowsers and rigs with customers in all major motorsport championships including F1, F2, F3, F4, Indycar, Indylites, WEC, ELMS, Asian LMS, WSeries, Porsche Supercup and Carrera cup, Blancpain Endurance, Britsh GT, British Touring Cars, Korean TCR, Chinese Touring Cars.
